Customized onion box storage for Gutsverwaltung Braudel
Our dealer Dittmer Umwelttechnik has realized a new onion box storage for Gutsverwaltung Braudel, consisting of three storage rooms with a total capacity of 3,450 tons.
The storage is equipped with pressure ventilation (airbag system), cooling in all storage rooms, and gas heating for onion drying. The complete installation is controlled by Croptimiz-r, enabling efficient climate control and long-term storage.
A key aspect of this project was the customized approach. Dittmer Umwelttechnik carefully considered the local fire safety requirements, resulting in ventilation dampers with separate controls and an emergency power backup.
The storage has been operational since the 2025 harvest and is designed to maximize storage capacity while maintaining optimal product quality throughout the storage season.
